Invite an Operator

Add an Operator to your GC Surge account by sending an email invitation. The Operator receives a password setup email and can log in immediately after activating their account.

Before you begin

• You must have the Super Admin role.
• At least one shift must already be configured under Settings → Configure shifts. The shift assignment field only appears when the Operator role is selected.
• The email address you enter must not already be registered in your account.

Steps

1. In the left sidebar, click the person icon to open User .
2. Click + INVITE NEW USER in the top-right corner of the User List.
3. In the Personal Information section, fill in the following fields: First Name (required)Last Name (required)Email Address (required) — the invitation will be sent herePhone Number (optional)
4. Under Account Settings, open the GCSurge Role dropdown and select Operator.
5. A Shift field appears. Select the shift this Operator will be assigned to (e.g., A (Default)).
6. Click SEND INVITATION.

What happens next

• A “User invited successfully” banner confirms the invitation was sent.
• The Operator appears in the User List with the role Operator.
• The Operator receives an email from support@nxgen.io prompting them to set a password and complete onboarding.

Troubleshooting

“User already exists” The email address is already associated with an account in your organisation. Verify the address or ask the person to sign in with their existing credentials.
